Easter Weekend

The weather was great for Easter weekend considering it snowed before Easter and is currently snowing right now. So we enjoyed our lovely 50-60 degree weather. Kiera and Ellie enjoyed hunting for easter eggs and Kiera is determined that the Easter Bunny is very tall because he hides eggs up high. My sources say that she is right. Thanks to my amazing husband we colored eggs! He is so wonderful and I am so thankful that he inherited his mothers love for holidays. Kiera and him worked very hard on making some very beautiful eggs.





Then the girls enjoyed our Annual Hammond Lane Easter egg hunt. Ellie was a pro at picking up the eggs and enjoyed dragging her basket around and occasionally dumping it. She would not sit still for me to get her picture taken.





Then it was off to Grandma's. Grandpa took the kids on a wagon ride while the eggs were hidden. Kiera was the oldest and we encouraged her to help the little ones (Ellie and Aydon) find eggs as well. You can see why Kiera thinks the Easter Bunny is so tall, he hid one in the pipe of the swing set.
