Here are the two girls decorating the tree. Kiera stayed on the stool while Ellie ran back and forth and grabbed the ornaments to give to her sister. The stool stayed put so needless to say the front part of our tree was fully decorated. And those of you that know I have a touch of OCD know that it drove me crazy but it was so cute that I lasted about 3-4 days before I rearranged everything and balanced it out.
We spent Christmas Eve at Jim and Amanie's house. Everyone was there except for Jenni's family who were bound for Disneyland on Christmas day. We were also blessed to have both grandparents there. It ended up being the last time the family was together with Grandpa Crosbie as he passed away on the 29th of December. He enjoyed watching the grandkids dance and sing and the guys carried him in his wheelchair down to the basement where all of the action was. We will miss him but took part in a beautiful funeral and grave side service on Saturday.
Bonnie and Brent gifted everyone with a Christmas book and ornament and we all exchanged books through a game that involved reading the Night before Christmas. Jeff received the best book, compliments of his brother, see below. The kids also got their pajamas that night. Santa was able to drop them off at the back door...mysteriously!
